C-Murder Gets LIFE

Not too much to say about Mr. Miller and his luck, or lack there of, except….SWIPE!!!

GRETNA, La. — Rapper Corey “C-Murder” Miller has been sentenced to life in prison for his second-degree murder conviction.

District Judge Hans Liljeberg gave Miller the mandatory life sentence on Friday, days after the rapper was found guilty of the 2002 killing by a Louisiana jury.

The 38-year-old Miller was convicted of shooting 16-year-old fan Steve Thomas at a now-closed nightclub in Harvey.

It was the second time that a jury convicted Miller in the case, but a 2003 conviction was overturned.

Miller has been in jail after pleading no contest to two counts of attempted murder in a separate altercation at a nightclub in Baton Rouge in 2001.

In an extremely rare instance, a baby girl born at the Dr. Jose Fabella Memorial Hospital in the Philippines Tuesday night has two heads, CBS News reports. Named “Baby Girl Arciaga,” the infant has two spines, two brains and two hearts, encased in one cavity, but she shares everything else, including lungs and kidneys, according to the CBS report.

“This is a very rare case. It’s new even to us,” Dr. Ruben Flores, FMH’s director, said in a television interview.

The condition is called dicephaly monozygotic conjoined birth, and it occurs in only one out of 80,000 live births.

The sharing of vital organs for the two heads poses a danger, for which the baby is now under observation, AFP reports.

“The rate of survival will depend on the shared organ. If they only have one heart, they will not survive,” [an] unidentified spokeswoman told local radio.

Officials at the hospital said the extra head appeared to be a twin of the girl who failed to fully separate during the development stage in early pregnancy.

Please pardon me for paraphrasing the Bible, but somewhere in there I read it is better to sin in ignorance than to do so willingly. So for every person out there that truly believes Obama is not an American citizen I have far more empathy for your ignorance than I do for the foolish men and women on Capitol Hill that nurture it.

Obama isn’t always my favorite but Lord have mercy we’re already at Bush year 6 level madness disguised as political disagreements (we all know Bush got a really hard time from his critics but DAMN, Obama’s been in 6 months and he’s threatening to lap Bush on the “insane ass criticisms” category) !
